Do You Have Questions About Your Child's Development?
Minnesota ParentsKnow has a site that gives General Development Indicators for ages 3 months, 6 months, 9 months, 12 months, 18 months, 2 years, 3 years, 4 years, and 5 years old. Just click on the age below the picture to see the information.
Early Childhood Screening is an early look at a child's development. Click here for additional details about having your child screened. The ideal age for screening is 3-4 years old. This allows health and development concerns to be addressed one to two years before a child enters kindergarten. The State of Minnesota requires a health and developmental screening for every child before kindergarten entry into a public and some private schools. Click here for Screening Forms. District 623 offers this service at no cost. If at all possible, please leave other children at home. Call 651-487-4378 for more information.
