Full-time Literacy Tutor for Grades k-3 for the 2013-14 School Year
Full-time Math Tutor for Grades 4-6 for the 2013-14 School Year
Experience life-changing growth: Become a tutor with either Minnesota Reading Corps or Minnesota Math Corps.
Minnesota Reading Corps--the nation's largest state AmeriCorps program--is looking for 1 Literacy Tutor for Central Park Elementary. Elementary Literacy Tutors not ony change the world of children who are struggling in school, they grow their own professional skills and
network. Literacy Tutors help kids become successful readers by the end of third grade by implementing research-based literacy strategies. As a tutor, you will earn about $500 biweekly living allowance and an education award of up to $5,500 to further your own education. Minnesota Math Corps--a sister program to Minnesota Reading Corps--is looking for 1 Math Tutor for Central Park Elementary to help students become proficient in algebra by the end of eighth grade.
