District 623 is committed to using research-based curriculum and instructional strategies. To that end, our district curriculum undergoes regular review through the Systems Outcomes/Accountability Review Cycle (SOARC). The department of Teaching and Learning facilitates the SOARC cycle which gathers input from various stakeholder groups including: students, parents, staff, community members and outside experts.
