Curriculum maps are created by teachers to show what is taught in their classes. They are always in constant revision to reflect changes and updates as they occur. To view current curriculum maps, click here.

Curriculum Maps allow:

  • Teachers to communicate the most essential learning.
  • Teachers to update and revise curriculum.
  • Teachers and administrators to insure that there is consistency across the district's many schools.
  • Teachers to align curriculum with state and national standards.
  • Teachers to eliminate gaps by correlating curriculum and analyzing with assessment data.
  • Teachers to eliminate unnecessary redundancies in curriculum.
  • Teachers to identify potential areas for integration and interdisciplinary activity opportunities.
  • Specialist teachers, such as those in special education and library media/technology, to provide instructional support.
  • Teachers, administrators, and parents to engage in shared responsibility for student success.
  • Parents to see at a glance what their child will be taught.
