Collaboration Support

Teachers who are interested in carrying on professional conversations online may do so by using our district ning.  Groups that wish to collaborate online may create a discussion thread on this site.

Blended Online Learning

Are you interested in learning more about how to utilize Moodle or other online tools to allow some portion of your instruction to take place online? The district is currently investigating possible avenues of exploration in this area.  Interested staff should contact Michael.

Northeast Metro Educator's Network

Northeast Metro will be offering licensing renewal requirement sessions in March and April.  Watch this site for more information.

License Renewal

In addition to the 125 total clock hours needed for license renewal, our district has four specific requirements that are connected to state requirements.

  1. Positive Behavioral Intervention Strategies
  2. Differentiation
  3. Reading Preparation
  4. Mental Health of Students

District trainings to cover these areas are routinely available within the district.  If you are renewing and in need of training in one of these four areas, here are some available training options.  To connect with one of these trainings, contact the staff development coordinator.

Category One:  Positive Behavioral Intervention Strategies (Online Training Program.  Training is sometimes available through Metro ECSU.)

Category Two:  Differentiation  (Online Training Program)

Category Three:  Reading Preparation (Online Training Program)

Category Four:  Mental Health of Students (Training is sometimes available through the Minnesota Association for Children's Mental Health.  There are some in-district trainings when space is available.)

If you are a substitute or non-public teacher in the Roseville School District and would like to access ongoing professional development, there are a limited selection of training days which might have sessions open for you to attend.  The dates for the current year are January 25th and February 16th.

To obtain the complete license renewal packet, select Human Resources from the Departments tab above.
