What is the Roseville Area Schools Foundation?
The Roseville Area Schools Foundation, started in the late 1980s. It is dedicated to helping make Roseville Area Schools educational program a model for excellence and innovation. Grants are awarded to teachers and programs within District 623. Please view our Annual Report.
The Goals of the Foundation are:
- To support programs for learning, problem-solving, creative analysis and thinking skills;
- To support the pursuit of excellence by staff;
- To assist in establishing a partnership between the educational community and local business, government and nonprofit organizations; and
- To reinforce the goals of the Roseville Area School Board.
The Roseville Area Schools Foundation seeks support from individuals, foundations and corporations who are interested in public education.
We also seek funds from staff, parents, alumni, and retirees of our school system. One of largest sources of funds comes from the Roseville Area Schools Fall Giving Campaign.
The Foundation Generates funds...
- To give to staff as grants to enhance or launch creative and or innovative projects for students.
- To fund programs that are working in our schools, but are limited due to cuts in public funding,
- To support opportunities and resources to enrich and expand learning opportunities for students and staff.
