Making an Impact
Since its inception, the Roseville Area Schools Foundation has awarded more than $325,000 in grants for educational programs and resources within District 623. We support:
- Teachers launching or enhancing creative and innovative projects that impact students;
- Opportunities and resources that enrich and expand learning opportunities for students and staff;
- Educational projects that involve collaborating with partner groups or organizations;
- Curricular or extracurricular projects that reinforce the goals of the Roseville Area School Board.

Foundation Grant Applications Deadlines
The deadlines for Foundation grant applications are the 15th of October and February. Awards will be made the second week of November and March.

Background
The following information will help you understand the purpose of foundation and what we're looking for in a grant proposal.
The Foundation's Mission
The Roseville Areas Schools Foundation seeks to enhance educational opportunities for students and/or residents of the school district by developing and supporting programs consistent with the mission of the school district and by generating, receiving, and distributing gifts for these purposes.
Our Program Development Goals
Our activities are designed to:
- Reinforce, supplement, and extend the goals of the School Board;
- Support the pursuit of excellence by District 623 staff;
- Assist in establishing a learning and working partnership among the educational community, business, government, and non-profits; and
- Support projects that focus learning on problem-solving, creative analysis, and thinking skills.
Criteria Used in Reviewing Grant Applications
- Relevance of the proposed project to the foundation's mission and goals;
- Importance of the need addressed in the proposal;
- Potential of the project to impact students;
- Evidence that the project is creative, innovative, or in some other way unique;
- Evidence of cooperation with others who have similar interests;
- Possibility of support from other sources; and
- The plan for evaluating and sharing results.
