Roseville Area High School named 22nd in State by US News & World Report

Congratulations once again to RAHS for being ranked 22nd out of approximately 780 public schools in the state of Minnesota, and in the top 10-12% of public schools in the nation. Safe Schools, Healthy Schools Survey

Greetings, 623 Parents! We are very interested in your perspectives on issues facing our youth and the resources for available for parents in our communities. Please take this anonymous, confidential, and short (5-10 minute) survey and tell us your thoughts. The Suburban Ramsey Family Collaborative (SRFC) will use the results of this survey to plan and support activities with community partners that make our schools and communities safer and more responsive to the needs of families. The survey is available in Spanish, Hmong, and Somali.  AND-all those completing the survey will be entered into a drawing for one of four $100 gift cards to Barnes and Noble. Board Meeting Schedule

Board meetings are held at the District Center, 1251 County Road B2 West, Roseville, and generally begin at 6:30pm. Citizen comments are welcome and will be accepted at the beginning of each meeting. Coaching Investigation

Roseville Area Schools’ investigation regarding the complaints against the High School hockey coach is complete and is no longer on-going.  The coach resigned his coaching position prior to the School Board meeting on May 8, 2012.

Due to Minnesota Government Data Practice (Minn. Stat. Section 13.43) Roseville Area Schools cannot discuss the results of the investigation, or provide any comments or statements.

 

Little Canada Elementary Pilots Dual Immersion Language (DLI) Program

The Roseville DLI program will open in fall 2012 with its first class of All Day Kindergartners at Little Canada Elementary School. Twenty-two Spanish-speaking and 22 English-speaking students will be chosen by lottery to participate in the program.
