Media Center

The RAMS Media Center welcomes students, classes, and staff throughout each day.  Students can access an extensive variety of print materials including fiction, nonfiction, reference, picture books, graphic novels and magazines.  Non-print resources available for checkout include videos/DVD’s, audiocassettes, CD’s, Playaways, USB flash drives, and laptops.  Some of the online subscriptions available are World Book Online, ProQuest Newsstand, and E-Library.  Smartboards, printers, a scanner, and other technology are also available for use within the Media Center. There are 24 computer stations where students may research and access the online catalog.  There are also three class areas and two additional school computer labs that are easily accessible from the media center. 

Hours:
The Media Center opens Monday through Friday at 7:30.  After school, it is open Monday through Thursday until 4:00 and Friday until 3:30.  Students are welcome and encouraged to use the media center during those times as well as during the school day with their classes, on individual passes, and during STAR and lunch.
