School Board Selects Dr. Jennifer Loeck as Next Superintendent
After an inclusive process that involved input from staff, families, students and members of the community, the school board of Roseville Area Schools has selected Dr. Jennifer Loeck to be the district's next superintendent.

Secondary Grades to Transition to Blended Learning in Third Trimester
As COVID-19 rates in our community have dropped significantly, we have been able to begin returning to in-person learning for our elementary students this week. After consultation with the state’s regional support team, we are pleased that we can transition students in our secondary grades to blended learning in Trimester 3.

Staged Reopening of Schools for Early Learning and Elementary Grades Starting Jan. 26
Elementary students will begin a phased transition to in-person learning four days per week beginning Jan. 26, attending in-person Monday through Thursday with an asynchronous learning day from home on Fridays. After spring break, we will transition elementary grades to five-days a week in person, with the length of the school day reduced by 30 minutes to allow for teacher planning. Governor announces changes to state's Safe Learning Plan, allowing elementary schools and early learning programs to open in January
On Dec. 16, Governor Walz announced changes to the state’s Safe Learning Plan for the 2020-21 School Year that would allow us to begin bringing our youngest students back to school for blended or in-person learning starting as soon as January 19. We are hopeful that we can make the necessary adjustments to begin a transition in January, but will continue to monitor health and safety conditions that might interfere with this timeline.

Superintendent Candidate Interviews on Wednesday, Feb. 24
At its regular meeting on Tuesday, Feb. 23, the school board approved a slate of two candidates for interviews to be conducted, including a televised interview at a special meeting of the board on Feb. 24, at 6:30 p.m. Learn about the candidates and how to tune in.
