A general election will be held on Tuesday, November 7, 2023. At that election, three individuals will be elected to fill vacancies for terms beginning in January 2024 and expiring at the end of December 2027.
The period for filing affidavits of candidacy for the office of school board member of Independent School District No. 623 (Roseville Area Schools) will begin on Tuesday, August 1, 2023, and will close at 5 p.m. on Tuesday, August 15, 2023.
Affidavits of Candidacy must be filed at the Ramsey County Elections Office, 90 Plato Boulevard West in St. Paul. The filing fee for this office is $2.
A candidate for this office:
- Must be an eligible voter
- Must be at least 21 years of age upon taking office
- Must have been a resident of the school district from which the candidate seeks election for thirty (30) days before the general election
- Must have no other affidavit on file for any other office at the same election
Candidates must also confirm that they have not been convicted of an offense for which they are required to register as a predatory offender under Minnesota Statutes, Section 243.166 (Registration of Predatory Offenders).
