Roseville Area Schools' kindergarten programs nurture the natural curiosity of children while teaching them building-block skills needed for a lifetime of learning. Our kindergarten teachers provide abundant opportunities for children to develop socially, emotionally, physically, and intellectually in a safe, nurturing learning environment.
To enroll your child in kindergarten, please complete the following steps:
- Complete Enrollment Paperwork

Driver’s license, utility bill, or lease/purchase agreement to show that you live at the address you’ve enrolling with. - Provide Proof of Student's Age
Documentation may include a passport, a hospital birth record or physician's certificate, a baptismal or religious certificate, an adoption record, health records, immunization records, immigration records, previously verified school records, early childhood screening records, Minnesota Immunization Information Connection (MIIC) records, or an affidavit from a parent. In Minnesota, a child must be 5 years old by September 1st in order to start kindergarten. Some exceptions exist for early or delayed admission. See below for more information about early entrance to kindergarten. - Provide Student Health Record/Immunization Record
This is required by state law. - Complete Early Childhood Screening

- Drop-Off: District Center, 1251 County Road B2 W, Roseville, MN 55113. The District Center is open Monday-Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., and for your convenience, we can make copies of your necessary documents.
If you live outside our school district and wish to enroll your child in the Roseville Area Schools, please complete open enrollment paperwork and return it to the enrollment office.
