Non-district students in grades K-12 may attend Roseville Area Schools on a space-available basis, providing they meet the application deadlines and the following conditions:
- Applicants must be full-time students except for those high school students applying to attend the vocational program at Northeast Metropolitan Intermediate School District 916.
- Parents are responsible for transporting students to the school or to a bus stop in the school's attendance area.
- Students must make a one-year commitment as required by state law.
Applications received for the current school year will be reviewed on an ongoing basis.
Applications for 2026-2027 Option Schools, in district transfers, and open enrollment will be accepted beginning November 3, 2025. Applications received by January 15, 2026 will be processed late January. Status letters with next steps will be mailed to families early February 2026. Applications received after January 15, 2026 will be reviewed on an ongoing basis.
Non-resident siblings of current students must still apply for open enrollment. All schools will offer sibling preference in placement. This means based on space availability, siblings of current students will be placed into the school/program before other applications are processed. If space is not available at the time applications are processed, siblings will receive preference on the waitlist.
Please contact Central Enrollment at enrollment@isd623.org or 651-635-1626 if you have any questions about the application process.
