Pre-K

There are 2 ways to register:

1) Click on the ONLINE Registration Form button to complete a Google Form. You will receive a confirmation of your answers to know that your registration was received. This is the preferred registration method.

2) Click on the PRINTABLE Registration Form button to download/print a one-page version of the form, which can then be mailed, emailed, or dropped off.

If you are interested in applying for financial assistance, you must complete an online or printable Scholarship Form IN ADDITION to a registration form.

Note: The paper copies of this brochure that were mailed to homes say that class 502 from 10:00am - 12:30pm is a 3 day/afternoon class. This has now been corrected to say 3 day/morning class on these digital copies of the class schedules.

REGISTRATION TIMELINE:

• Pre-K registration for the 2024-2025 school year opens January 22, 2024 for Roseville school district residents, families with older children open-enrolled in Roseville Area Schools, district staff and returning children who were in the Pre-K program during 2023-2024. Registrations that are received by February 29, 2024 will be notified of the class placement by the last week of March. Registrations received on or after March 1, 2024 will be processed starting March 25, 2024 and then on-going as received.
• Non-district families can register beginning April 1, 2024 and will be placed in classes beginning July 1, 2024.
• Children must be age 3 or 4 by September 1, 2024. You must choose classes based on the child’s age on September 1, 2024, even if they turn 3 or 4 a few days or weeks after. 
• Children who are age 5 by September 1, 2024 can register for kindergarten. Click here for more information.

OTHER DETAILS:

• ALL children in Pre-k must be fully and independently potty trained and able to use the bathroom on their own. No diapers or pull-ups are allowed. 
• Classes cannot be combined; children can be in one class that they stay in for the entire school year. 

TUITION:

• $100 non-refundable registration fee will be charged when enrolled in a class. Those approved for scholarships will have a reduced registration fee based on their scholarship. 
• Tuition is paid in 9 equal installments. 
• First payment is billed upon enrollment in a class,  and is 50% refundable until June 1, 2024.
• After June 2, 2024 the first payment is non-refundable. 
• Remaining 8 payments are billed/paid October-May.
• Scholarships are available to those who qualify.

TRANSPORTATION:

• Transportation is limited within the Roseville Area Schools district.
• Transportation is not guaranteed to students in half day classes at Anpetu Teca.
• Transportation for half day classes at the Early Childhood Center at Harambee is only available at 9:30 arrival for morning half day class and at 4:00 for the afternoon half day class.
• You must commit to either using the bus or parent transport to and from school. This can not be changed day to day. 
• Priority is for families who are not able to drive their child to or from school.  

BEFORE & AFTER SCHOOL CARE - FRIENDSHIP CONNECTION:

• Available for Pre-k students enrolled at the Early Childhood Center at Parkview and Harambee.
• This is a separate, fee based program. Registration begins in February and more information can be found here. 
• Before school care is available for morning or all day classes at Harambee. 
• After school care is available for afternoon and all day classes at Harambee.
• After school care only is available at Parkview. 
• Children must be 4 by September 1, 2024 for Friendship Connection.

Roseville Area Schools Pre-K is a four star Parent Aware rated program. Our early childhood teachers use innovative, theme-based curriculum that includes individualized activities to help all children reach developmental and academic goals.

Our 3 Pre-K centers are designed especially for young children, with child-sized tables, chairs, equipment, and bathrooms!

• Early Childhood Center at Harambee
• Early Childhood Center at the Aŋpétu Téča
• Early Childhood Center at Parkview

We offer a variety of classes for children ages 3 and 4 by September 1. Half-day, all-day, and bilingual classes are available to provide your child with the building blocks for school success! Financial assistance and scholarships may be available to qualifying families. The Financial Assistance Application should be completed and submitted with the registration form.

Most liaisons work from the Aŋpétu Téča Education Center and can be reached by school staff or parents at any time to discuss school-related matters. Contact information can be found HERE.
