Summer Credit Recovery

Summer Credit Recovery provides an opportunity for students to make up missed high school credits in a flexible and alternative way. Teachers provide unique and innovative opportunities for students to grow and learn throughout the summer. This year, we will be offering students opportunity for in-person learning only in our Summer Academy Program. Students must have failed a class to participate in the Summer Academy Program.  Ask your school counselor or advisor for more information.

The Summer Academy Program is an in-person learning program for students to work with a teacher and peers to recover credit they have missed during the school year.  Students will have the option to choose and complete one class a week.  This summer we are offering four weeks of credit recovery.

We will schedule students in classes closest to graduation by age. Students will receive an email by June 15 with the courses they have been enrolled in for the summer. It’s important to check the student email as their schedule and bus information will be sent to them individually. Registration will be open April 28-May 17.

Classes will be held Mondays through Fridays, June 30-July 25, 2025. Class time is 7:45 a.m. - 12:45 p.m. All classes will be held at:

Aŋpétu Téča Education Center
1910 County Road B West
Roseville, Minnesota 55113

  • July 30-July 3: Math and electives (No classes on July 4)
  • July 7-11: Social Studies and electives
  • July 14-18: English and electives offered
  • July 15-July 19: Science and electives offered

Students who are currently not enrolled at Fairview Alternative High School or Roseville Area High School will need to enroll in our school district for the summer at our District Center (1251 County Road B2, Roseville, MN 55113). Once enrolled, the summer school administrator will contact the family about what courses are needed.  A transcript will be required to verify the course to recover.
