Summer Credit Recovery

Summer credit recovery through Roseville Area Schools' Summer Academy Program provides an opportunity for students to make up missed high school credits in a fun, flexible, and alternative way. Teachers provide unique and innovative opportunities for students to grow and learn throughout the summer. This year, students with have the opportunity to learn in-person only in our Summer Academy Program. Students must have failed a class to participate in the Summer Academy Program. Ask your school counselor or advisor for more information.

The Summer Academy Program is an in-person learning program for students to work with a teacher and peers to recover credit they have missed during the school year. Students will have the option to choose and complete one class a week. This summer, we are offering up to 4 credits.

We will schedule students in classes closest to graduation by age. Students will receive an email by June 15 with the courses they have been enrolled in for the summer. It’s important to check the student email as their schedule and bus information will be sent to them individually. Registration closes on Friday, May 26.

This summer, classes will be held Monday-Friday, June 17 - July 19. Class time is 7:45 a.m. - 12:45 p.m.  All classes will be held at Roseville Area High School.

  • June 17-21: Social studies and electives
  • June 24-June 28: English and electives
  • July 8-July 12: Science and electives
  • July 15-July 19: Math and electives

Students who are currently not enrolled at Fairview Alternative High School or Roseville Area High School will need to enroll in Roseville Area Schools for the summer at our District Center (1251 County Road B2 in Roseville, MN). Once enrolled, the Summer Academy Program administrator will contact the family about what courses are needed. A transcript will be required to verify the course to recover.
