Family Distance Learning Survey

Posted on August 6, 2020

We recently shared with you initial details about plans to begin the school year with a blended learning approach, which combines distance-learning activities and in-person learning with social distancing and limits to the number of students and staff present at one time. We also shared that families have the option to choose full-time distance learning for their students.

RAMS Blended Learning Feedback Session

Posted on August 5, 2020

RAMS Families -

I hope this email finds you healthy and continuing to enjoy summer! As you know, Roseville Area Schools has determined that our district will return to school using a “blended learning/hybrid” approach, which combines in-person learning at least two days a week with distance learning the other school days (some students receiving specialized services will go in-person four days a week). The Minnesota Department of Health guidelines for social distancing and limits to the number of students and staff present at one time will be our guide.  In addition, any Roseville Area Schools family will also be able to choose a full-time distance learning option, if that is what is best for your family.  We also know this may all change if the number of COVID 19 infections rise in Ramsey County before the start of the school year.

Blended Learning Announcement

Posted on August 4, 2020

Hello, Parents and Guardians,

This is Principal Chris Hester with an important announcement.

As you know, Roseville Area Schools has determined that our school district will return to school using a “blended learning” approach, which combines in-person learning at least two days a week with distance learning the other school days. Minnesota Department of Health guidelines for strict social distancing and limits to the number of students and staff present at one time will be our guide. In addition, any Roseville Area Schools family will also be able to choose a full-time distance learning option, if that is what is best for your family. And, this may change if the number of COVID-19 infections rise in Ramsey County before the start of the school year.

Before our school district makes the final determination of what this model will look like, we seek your input as families. Please join me in one of two discussions to offer feedback regarding the specific models being considered for hybrid learning in Roseville Area Schools.

I will be hosting three Zoom meetings to present the models being considered, and then ask for your input regarding these models.

Thank you so much for your continued support of Roseville Area Schools.  I hope that each of you and your family are well!

Christina Hester, Principal
Roseville Area High School

YEARBOOKS!

We still have quite a few yearbooks to be picked up! Please call the school at 651-482-5280 to schedule a time to pick-up ASAP with building secretary Linsey Owen.

We have also had quite a few families express interest in still purchasing a yearbook and as we don't have any extras Josten's has agreed to do a second print!
