Governor Tim Walz has ordered that all schools to remain closed and distance learning began Monday, March 30. Distance learning will continue through at least May 4. All other activities and events are canceled through May 4. Information about your school's distance learning plan is available at isd623.org/covid19.


  • We are providing child care for elementary-age children of health care professionals, first responders, district educators and other emergency workers to ensure Minnesota’s first line of defense against COVID-19 can stay on the job. 
  • School meals are a vital source of nutrition for many students, and we are providing free meals to any child 18 and under during this school closure.

CP Distance Learning Update

Distribution of technology has been completed for grades 5 and 6.

Families with students in kindergarten through 4th grade who have indicated a need for technology will receive communication within the week regarding distribution.

If you have tech needs but have not yet completed the survey, please do so HERE.

Families should continue to connect with their teachers on Seesaw. Please contact the office at 651-481-9951 if you need help connecting with your teachers. 

School office hours have been altered due to distance learning, and staff will be on site 9:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m. Voicemails will be returned in a timely matter.

RAMS Plan for Distance Learning

Governor Tim Walz has declared that all schools in Minnesota will begin offering distance learning this coming Monday through at least April 30th. At this time the governor is asking schools to prepare for students returning to school buildings on Tuesday, May 5. Please keep in mind that these plans could change. This message is to provide you with an overview of our distance learning plans.

Please watch the introduction video for our plans to provide distance learning to your child.  Following the introduction video, the RAMS Admin team will provide you with an overview of how we will use distance learning to meet the educational needs of our students. 


RAHS Distance Learning Plan Beginning March 30

RAHS Students: Your teachers have been working hard on creating their distance learning classroom in Schoology.  We look forward to seeing you all online! 

Our school schedule will alternate A days and B days.


A day (March 30, April 1, 3, 7, 9, 14, 16, 20, 22, 24, 28, 30):

Period 1, 9 - 10 a.m.

Period 3, 10 - 11 a.m.


Period 5, 12:00-1 p.m.

1 - 2  All staff office hour (Teachers are available to students/families)

B day (March 31, April 2, 6, 8, 13, 15, 17, 21, 23, 27, 29, May 1):

Period 2, 9 - 10 a.m.

10 - 11 a.m. All Staff office hour (Teachers are available to students/families)


Period 4, 12:00 - 1 p.m.

Learning Material Pick Up

Learning Material Pick Up is scheduled for Wednesday, March 25 and Thursday, March 26. Pick up can be requested on Friday, March 27 by appointment only. Arrival times are determined by the first letter of your child's last name (alphabetically). Please remain in your vehicle and staff will retrieve materials for you.

Please arrange to pick up school materials for your child on site Thursday, March 26 only between 7:30-9:30am;  11:30am-1:30pm;  or  3:30-5:30pm. Materials will not be available before these times. Pick-up will be in the cafeteria. We will be practicing social distancing so please only send in one adult to retrieve items. The first week of learning will be sent home in a packet, and device pick up will be arranged at a later date.  Teachers will be available to answer questions via Seesaw, but students will not be required to be online this first week. Please watch for more information to follow.
