Parent Pride Nights

Parents & Care Providers, please join us for Parent Pride Nights! Meet Central Park's fabulous student support staff (Social worker, Psychologist and Student Success Coordinator) and connect with other parents. Space will be provided for topics connected to the distance learning and hybrid learning models such as; creating schedules, mental health, sleep, study habits and other topics parents would like to discuss further. Afterwards, there will be time for questions.

 

 

Secondary Grades (7 - 12) Registration for Blended and Distance Learning

On Friday, Oct. 23, students in grades 7 – 12 will register to either transition to blended learning or to remain in distance learning for the second trimester. Registration will be done via Schoology and students will be guided through the process by a teacher during one of their courses. (RAHS students period 2)

 

A ZOOM meeting will be held with RAHS Principal Hester on Thursday, Oct. 22 at 6:30 p.m. The meeting will include information about the two models and time for questions & answers. Here is the meeing link

RAMS Town Hall Meeting

RAMS Town Hall Meeting

On Monday, October 19th at 6:30pm RAMS administrative staff will be hosting a Zoom Town Hall meeting. The purpose of this meeting is to share information about blended learning and the return to school within the building. There will also be discussion around the registration process and how students will register to remain in full distance learning or move to blended learning that starts on December 7th. 

A Zoom link to the RAMS Town Hall meeting will be sent out via email the afternoon of Monday, October 19th. 

Celebrating Indigenous Peoples' Day

Monday, Oct. 12 is Indigenous Peoples’ Day, and across the district we recognize the significant contributions to our society and our schools by American Indians. Working with the Minnesota Humanities Center, we've compiled resources for teachers and families about Indigenous Peoples' Day, including general websites, digital collections, grade-based videos, talks, and even virtual field trips.

CP Prepares for Blended Learning

Transition to Blended Learning Starts Monday, Oct. 12

On Monday, Oct. 12, we begin to transition to a blended learning scenario in stages, starting with students in kindergarten and first grade who will begin attending school in-person four days a week. Read more about when other grades will transition and about cohort assignments coming by mail next week.
