Partners for the Future: Connecting & Supporting Youth

Partners for the Future: Connecting & Supporting Youth

Roseville Area Schools is building partnerships with individuals and organizations to build a stronger, healthier, more engaged community. With that in mind, the Partners for the Future initiative encourages community members to:

  • Become a Mentor: The mentoring program will provide a variety of ways in which trusted adult mentors can positively impact lives of our students. Mentors will work with students from October through May providing mentoring support for 30 minutes to one hour three times per month.
  • Inspire Young Readers: The reading program will give children the opportunity to read fluently by providing them with additional experiences in reading to adults. Reading volunteers will work with a child for 30 minutes once or twice per week October through May.
  • Create Career Connections: Do you know an organization that is interested in hosting student interns or a job shadowing event? Do you know people who would share their career paths with students as they navigate their journey into the workforce?

There truly is something for everyone. For more information, watch our video www.isd623.org/partners and then sign up! Together, we can make a difference in connecting and supporting our community’s youth.
