10 Reasons to Take the PSAT

The PSAT (Preliminary SAT) is an optional exam offered to high school juniors. If students earn a high score on the PSAT they could qualify to receive a National Merit Scholarship. More than $180 million in scholarships in merit scholarships are awarded to students each year. The PSAT is 2 hours and 45 minutes long and tests reading, writing, and math. It is an excellent practice for the ACT that all RAHS juniors take in April. Registration begins in August.
