Little Canada hosted a Technology Night on November, 27. Families were able to explore computer websites that students use at school along with iPad apps. A handout with the names of apps and websites categorized by math, literacy, coding and Spanish were available for families to take home. There was also a handout for families to access Open Ebooks. We had a coding station with various robots available to code and then use the robots to follow the code. A makerspace station with multiple activities was available where families had lots of fun playing and creating together. It was a high energy, fun evening for those able to attend, and families left with fun educational resources to use at home. One student commented, "I got to come to school and just play!"
