CP Back to School Information

While students are gone, we have been undergoing some major construction changes here at Central Park. It will be exciting to welcome you back!

Grades 1-6 will resume September 3. Our school day begins at 8:55 a.m. and ends at 3:20 p.m. There are no changes to our school day schedule. Kindergarten begins on September 4 and pre-K begins September 9.

With our extensive renovations and updates, construction will not be completed until the Labor Day weekend. Because of this we will not be able to host our annual Meet the Teacher event for grades 1 – 6 the week prior to school. We are going to instead have a grand re-opening family and community event on Thursday, September 19, 5 – 7 p.m. Mark your calendars! This evening will include an open house allowing families a chance to not only meet their child’s teacher, but to tour our renovated and new construction areas, complete the educational benefits form, sign up for conferences and also hear more about what your child will be learning in their new grade as well as progress benchmarks to look for along the way.

Your child will receive a postcard in the mail by August 30 letting them know who their teacher will be and which classroom to go to the first day of school. School supplies can come with your child during the first week. If your child needs assistance with backpack and /or supplies, teachers will have these available the first week also. Please let your child’s teacher know if this is something that would be helpful for your family. School will not be open to children grades 1 – 6 prior to the start of school, September 3.

Kindergarten students and adults only will be able to come on August 28 from 4 – 6 pm for Orientation and Meet the Teacher. We will only be able to host kindergarten children and adults during this event so please do not bring other children.

Bus information will come directly from Roseville Area Schools Transportation Department and will arrive around the end of August.

In addition, we have done some reconfiguring at Central Park next year regarding classrooms. Please see below.
