Celebrating and Learning about Indigenous Peoples' Day
Monday, Oct. 12 is Indigenous Peoples’ Day, and across the district we recognize the significant contributions to our society and our schools by American Indians. We celebrate and commemorate their histories and their cultures and recognize the Native community that thrives in the Roseville Area community.
Working with the Minnesota Humanities Center, we've compiled resources for teachers and families about Indigenous Peoples' Day, including general websites, digital collections, grade-based videos, talks, and even virtual field trips.
