This Friday, Oct. 23 during STAR, classroom teachers will be guiding RAMS students to register for either Blended Learning or Full-Time Distance Learning when we begin Trimester 2 on December 7. (Full-time distance learning will continue thru the end of Trimester 1, Dec. 3.). Students who are absent from STAR on October 23rd or those students not ready to decide on a learning model will have a 2nd chance to register in STAR on October 27th.
Information about the two models can be found:
- In an email from Roseville Area Schools which was sent to households on Oct. 18.
- The Secondary Roseville Blended and Distance Learning Handbook is loaded on the school's website page for reopening.
- RAMS STAR teachers will be connecting with students on Tuesday, Oct. 20 to provide information about the two models and be available for questions.
- RAMS administrators hosted an online ZOOM meeting this this past Monday, Oct. 19th at 6:30 p.m. to present information and answer questions about the two models. Here is the link to the recorded meeting.
Please take time this week to discuss the learning model choices with your student and make a family decision. It is entirely possible, however, that the plan to transition to blended learning will be impacted by changing health conditions in our community. We will keep you posted on any conditions that may impact the transition to Blended Learning.
