Reminder that there is no school Friday, Dec. 3, for students in Roseville Area Schools (except for Harambee, which is in session). Have a great weekend!
Staying Safe During Extreme Heat
Weather forecasts suggest that the extreme temperatures across Minnesota will continue through Friday. In-person learning will continue in all of our school buildings; however, if families choose to keep their students home this week, absences will be excused. School buses will continue to operate on their planned schedule.
We are taking numerous steps to address the heat for our students and staff, including encouraging frequent hydration and breaks, taking caution around physical activity, using spray water bottles and sprinklers, rotating classes into air-conditioned spaces, encouraging cool dress, and distributing additional fan units where needed.
Please remind students to drink plenty of fluids, even if they don't feel thirsty, and to wear loose, lightweight and light-colored clothing. Learn more about how to stay safe during hot weather.
Thank you for your support in maintaining a safe and healthy learning environment.
