Summer Academy for Credit Recovery and EL Registration (Grades 9-12)

Summer Credit Recovery provides an opportunity for students to make up missed high school credits in a fun, flexible and alternative way. Teachers provide unique and innovative opportunities for students to grow and learn throughout the summer. This year, we will be offering students opportunity for in-person learning only in our Academy Program. Students must have failed a class to participate in the Summer Academy Program.  Ask your school counselor or advisor for more information.

The Academy is an in-person learning program for students to work with a teacher and peers to recover credit they have missed during the school year.  Students will have the option to choose and complete one class a week for a total of 5 credits this summer.  We will schedule students in classes by closest to graduation by age. Students will receive an email by June 15 with the courses they have been enrolled in for the summer.  It’s important to check the student email as their schedule and bus information will be sent to them individually.

Classes will be held Mondays through Fridays, June 20 - July 22, 2022. Class time is 7:45 am - 12:45pm.  All classes will be held at Roseville Area High School.

Students who are currently not enrolled at Fairview Alternative High School or Roseville Area High School will need to enroll in our school district for the summer at our District Center.  The address for the District Center is 1251 County Road B2, Roseville, MN 55113.  Once enrolled, the summer school administrator will contact the family about what courses are needed.  A transcript will be required to verify the course to recover.
