A free book for every student!

A great thing happened at our school on Friday. Through a partnership between Scholastic Books and the North Suburban Kiwanis club EVERY student received a free book. A first grader came up to me and excitedly said, " We get to keep this book forever!"

This Friday was the assembly for the end of our Read a Thon. We read for hundreds of hours, raised hundreds of dollars and had a blast all week. But the best was Friday when our principal, Mr.B, got pies thrown in his face by the Read a Thon winners.
