Little Canada third and fourth graders had the opportunity to enjoy the play James and the Giant Peach at Stages Theater.

When James is sent by his conniving aunts to chop down their old fruit tree, he discovers a magic potion that results in a tremendous peach and launches a voyage of gigantic proportions. During their cross-ocean travels, James and the peach’s oversized insect residents encounter hunger, sharks and loads of disagreements, and James must learn to use his quick wit to finally land on New York’s Empire State Building.

PSAT Testing Oct. 16

11th grade students who pre-registered last May to take the PSAT will take the exam on October 16  beginning at 8:10 a.m. in the gymnasiums. Students will need to bring their picture ID, calculator and two #2 pencils. They should also have their email address. The PSAT will be finished by approximately 12:30 p.m. Registration is closed.

Groundbreaking at Parkview Center School

Students from every grade at Parkview Center School joined teachers, Principal Smith Olson, Superintendent Sicoli, School Board Chair Gogins, Roseville Mayor Dan Roe and other local officials at a groundbreaking ceremony on October 7.
