As you likely know a decision was made last week to start the school year with all distance (online) learning. This decision will be reevaluated each month by the school board as they look at the data and guidance by the Minnesota Department of Health. We remain hopeful we will be able to welcome students back into the building for in-person learning soon, and we will continue to plan for a safe return to the classroom.

CP Message from the Principal

Posted on January 8, 2021

Hello, Central Park Families,

I trust you have had a good start to the new year. I know we have seen some alarming images from our nation’s capital this past week. These events have been unsettling and have raised a lot of questions for our children. Teachers have talked openly about these current events with their students. These are challenging yet important conversations as our children will grow to be adults and future leaders. Differences is what makes us stronger if we are able to listen to understand.

As you know we are transitioning once again with an option for students to return to school in person. Distance learning continues to remain a consistent option for all families.

If families want to transition to in person learning please contact the school office or your child’s teacher by the end of the day on MONDAY, JANUARY 11.
