Central Park Kindergarten scholars welcomed members of the Roseville Fire Department Friday, October 6.
In preparation for Fire Safety Awareness Week, firefighters showed off their uniforms and equipment, demonstrated fire prevention and safety procedures, and gave a tour of the firetruck.
We are grateful for the the time such caring community members spent with us to share this important message.

The Annual Scholastic Book Fair begins next week! Students will be able to preview the book fair with their class during the school day and will have an option to shop toward the end of the week. The book fair is also open to families during conferences Monday, October 9, Thursday, October 12 and Monday, October 16.

Did you know that you can vote now? While Election Day is November 7, absentee voting is available to all voters prior to Election Day; NO REASON IS NEEDED.

Band and Orchestra lessons have started. If you are new to Central Park and interested in having your child 4th-6th grade student learn an instrument, please contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org for more information. Instruments can be rented from Eckroth Music in Roseville (800) 543-8255. A limited number of school instruments are available for use. If you know of anyone with an instrument not being used, Central Park would be happy to put it to good use in the hands of a student!

Please join us Monday, September 18, 5:00-6:30 PM, as we welcome back our Central Park Community. Families will have an opportunity to eat dinner near the playground and visit with staff members and other families. The menu includes hotdogs and a vegetarian option, chips and cookies. Bring in your school supplies (supply list available on the CP site) and don’t forget your calendar in order to sign-up for fall conferences! Please take time to fill out the Educational Benefits form regardless of your income. This is integral to Central Park receiving additional educational resources, including FREE breakfast and lunch for every student.
Tuesday, September 5 8:55 AM-3:20 PM First Day of School: Grades 1-6 ONLY
Doors open at 8:45 AM. Please do not drop your students before 8:45 AM. Buses often run late the first week of school as drivers are getting familiar with the routes. If you have questions about your transportation, please call Jim Monroe at 651.635.1638 or Centerline Bus Company at 651.488.5788.
