Officer Mike of the Roseville Police Department visited Mrs. Sasse's third and fourth grade class. Before reading to the students, he let the students check out his squad car. They even got to take turns sitting in it! Many of the kids said that it was their "dream come true". What a great day!

CP Read-Around-the-Park

Posted on March 1, 2017

Central Park celebrated “I Love to Read” month with classes reading to their buddies each week in February.

On the afternoon of March 2, Read Across America Day, we will be doing a whole school celebration of reading called “Read Around the Park” where students and their reading buddy will go to different areas of the school and hear stories.  At the end of that time we will gather together to hear Mrs. Berkas read a favorite Dr. Seuss story to us all and then go back to our rooms for cake to celebrate reading.

Students showed their special friends around school, introduced them to staff and shared a treat in the cafeteria. The highlights of the day were Spark stations in the gym. All students and visitors participated in science and engineering projects brought to us by the Works Museum.
