As you may already know, Roseville Area Schools has a 1:1 iPad Program to take advantage of the many benefits that come with providing equitable access to educational technology. “1:1” refers to one device for each student. This letter is to inform you that your child will be issued an iPad as a part of this program as he/she enters into seventh grade. During the summer, you will receive information about the RAMS & Parkview orientation, which is a time when families are able to visit the school to meet teachers, purchase locks, ask questions, and much more. On that date, there will also be staff available to answer any questions you may have about the 1:1 iPad Program.
By receiving an iPad you and your student are agreeing to follow the district’s expectations for student iPad use as found in the 1:1 iPad Program Family & Student Guide. Please complete the following steps by the first day of school:
Step 1 - Review the 1:1 Family & Student Guide with your student(s).
Step 2 - Sign up for iPad insurance at https://isd623.feepay.com each year for each student.
Program goals and other information can be found at www.ISD623.org/digitallearn. You can also get there by going to the main school webpage and clicking on 1:1 iPad Program under the Families tab.
Thank you, and we look forward to partnering with you in the upcoming school year!
