CP Spring Carnival

Visit our Spring Carnival on Friday March 22, 6:00-8:00 PM.  

- Free bounce house, free crafts, ticket sales for carnival games, concessions, facepaint.  
- A silent auction with amazing deals that will go to the highest bidder, such as: grade level gift baskets, restaurant gift cards, admission to sports events, local museums and theatres, and... 5 DisneyWorld Tickets! Bring your checkbooks!
- New this year; if you bring a non perishable food item to the event, you will receive a free ticket! (maximum is 3 free tickets per person).  This initiative is in collaboration with our Student Council.

We will need a large number of people volunteering at our carnival games or to help with setup/cleanup.  If you are able to help out, please sign up at http://tinyurl.com/cppta-spring

CP Lost & Found

The last day to dig through this season of lost and found is Thursday, February 28. After that, all items will be donated to make space for collecting more goodies this spring!

CP Special Friends Day UPDATE

Past calendars may reflect Special Friends Day scheduled for Wednesday, February 27. Last month it was determined to try a new format and combine the February Special Friends Day with the May Celebrate Learning Night. Please mark your calendars for Thursday, May 9 and watch for more details closer to the event.

CP UNITY Center Canceled TODAY, Tuesday, February 5

Please note that CP Unity Center is canceled TODAY, Tuesday, February 5, 2019. All students who attend Unity Center will be coming home on their buses at the end of the school day. 

Friendship Connection will be open. 

CP Conference Schedule Change

Due to the weather related school closures the week of January 28, two conference nights have been rescheduled. All conferences the week of February 4 will go on as planned. Please see the following updates:

Tuesday, January 29 conferences will be held Tuesday, February 19 at their previously scheduled times. 

Thursday, January 31 conferences will be held Thursday, February 28 at their previously scheduled times.

CP Fifth Grade Families: 2019 Minnesota Student Survey

Our school district is asking students in grades 5, 8, 9 and 11 to participate in the 2019 Minnesota Student Survey (MSS). Federal law requires us to notify parents of this school activity. The MSS is conducted in schools across our state every three years.

CP First Lego League 2018

For the second year in a row, Central Park Elementary students participated in the First Lego League challenge. This competition not only encourages STEM activities but also instills several skills such as collaboration, respect, inclusion, team work, basic programming, innovation, strategy, being able to research a topic, presentation and many many more.
