Edgerton Elementary

About

A Message from the Principal

Welcome to Edgerton Elementary School! We are a neighborhood school that believes in building strong relationships with students, families and staff members. We are passionate about meeting the individual needs of our students and providing our scholars with a safe and innovative learning environment. Edgerton Elementary is guided by our district vision of “quality teaching and learning for all...equity in all we do.” Our school community has high expectations for our scholars, and we live this out daily by demonstrating respect, responsibility, empathy and safety.

Edgerton's SEL (social and emotional learning) Vision:

In order for “Quality Teaching and Learning for All...Equity In All We Do” to become a reality in our schools we must:

  1. Create a more just and caring world by helping our students to be more just and caring people.

  2. Create inclusive school families where ALL students belong.

  3. Encompass the moral and civic development of students.

  4. Create educational change through relationships.

  5. Have the leadership skills to nurture social and emotional learning in our schools.
