A Message from Superintendent Sicoli on the Attack on the U.S. Capitol

Superintendent Sicoli sent a statement to staff and families about this week's insurgent attack on the U.S. Capitol during a joint session of Congress. The message, available below, includes resources for talking with young people about the violent insurrection at the U.S. Capitol, racism, and ending white supremacy.

Staged Reopening of Schools for Early Learning and Elementary Grades Starting Jan. 26

Elementary students will begin a phased transition to in-person learning four days per week beginning Jan. 26, attending in-person Monday through Thursday with an asynchronous learning day from home on Fridays. After spring break, we will transition elementary grades to five-days a week in person, with the length of the school day reduced by 30 minutes to allow for teacher planning. Secondary Grades (7 - 12) Registration for Blended and Distance Learning

On Friday, Oct. 23, students in grades 7 – 12 registered to either transition to blended learning or to remain in distance learning for the second trimester. Registration was done via Schoology and students were guided through the process by a teacher during period 2. 


A ZOOM meeting was held with RAHS Principal Hester on Thursday, Oct. 22 at 6:30 p.m. The meeting included information about the two models and time for questions & answers.
