Counseling
Roseville Area High School's Counseling Department supports students' academic, career, and personal/social needs through individual planning, responsive services, and classroom guidance. School counselors help students to be successful in school and beyond. Students will receive services in a supportive, safe, and caring environment regardless of race, ethnicity, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, religion, socioeconomic status, beliefs, or ability.
School counselors can assist students in many areas, including:
- Goal setting
- Academic plans
- Organizations and study skills
- Career exploration
- Post-secondary education planning
- Crisis response and intervention
- Coping skills
- Peer relationships
- Problem solving
- Consultation and collaboration with teachers, administrators, and parents
- Referrals to further mental support
- Family conferences
