Annual Benefits & Insurance Open Enrollment: May 4-29, 2026
Open Enrollment is the time to make changes to your insurance elections and enroll in a Flexible Spending Account for plan year July 1, 2026, through June 30, 2027.
Medical Coverage
We have renewed our HealthPartners contract for the 2026-27 and 2027-28 plan years.
New Medical Plan
We are adding a new medical plan option starting July 1, 2026. Like our current Open Access deductible plan, the new Select Network option will offer the same in-network benefits and deductibles. Staff members who are enrolled in either the Open Access or Select Network plan will receive district contributions into their VEBA spending account.
The Select Network only includes HealthPartners and Park Nicollet providers – a smaller network of doctors, clinics, and hospitals. Because of the narrower network, the Select Network plan has lower premium costs, which will offer a more affordable health plan option for our members.
